Leather Collection
Nomada is a collection crafted by designers in collaboration with Piel Canela, a high-quality leather company made by Mexican artisans, based in Mexico City.
The objective of this project was to create products for people who are constantly on the move and hardly ever have time to spend in one place for long.
Furthermore, collaboration was established with students from the entrepreneurship program to develop a business model, ensuring the transformation of this collection into a marketable product for the brand.
Picnic Baskets is designed with the modern office worker in mind, aiming to facilitate their desire to reconnect with friends, family, or partners after a busy workweek. It offers an escape from the monotony of daily life, providing a contrasting and refreshing experience without requiring excessive effort. Picnic Baskets represents an elegant and contemporary approach to achieving this objective, elevating the experience while remaining practical. Its design allows for the storage of various containers, water bottles, or even wines, catering to the user's diverse needs in a stylish manner.
Additionally, a key aim of this project was to develop a product characterized by minimal material usage while ensuring ease of production and practicality in replication. By prioritizing efficiency and sustainability in both material selection and manufacturing processes, we sought to minimize environmental impact while maximizing cost-effectiveness and scalability. This approach not only aligns with our commitment to responsible design practices but also underscores our dedication to delivering innovative solutions that meet the needs of both consumers and the planet.
